Is Your Maroochydore Pool Fence Compliant?
A Pool Safety Certificate is only issued after a pool fence inspection has taken place by a licensed pool fence inspector and the pool inspector is satisfied that your pool fence complies with the latest pool safety legislation.
If the pool fence inspectors find any non-compliance issues, you will receive a full written report outlining 1. The issue of non-compliance, 2. A photo of the section of pool barrier and 3. A solution to make your pool fence compliant.
Keep in mind that minor issues such as a gate not self closing from any point in its full arc of operation will prevent your pool from passing an inspection. Hold you pool gate open from 10mm to fully open and let it go without force. If from any point, even only 10mm open you find that your pool gate does not self latch because the hinges don't have as much pull in them any more or the gate latch is rubbing on the striker then your gate will need adjustments.
Pool inspectors have a very strict set of guidelines to adhere to during each and every pool fence certification and a pool fence and all gates MUST meet all of the compliance standards prior to receiving a Pool Safety Certificate - FORM 23
